My clients usually do not LOVE technology, so I always try to find the most intuitive and user-friendly designed tools that include ALL of the bells and whistles! Below I’ve rounded up several of my go-to tools. I will add more to the list as I test more that I think you’ll love 🙂

Memberships & Courses 

MightyNetworks

A great choice if Community plays a primary role in your membership strategy. MN also allows you to create courses, group programs, circles, host events, and more. You can create virtually any kind of subscription, one-time payment or bundle package. I love MN! 

Podia

An uhh-mazing alternative to Kajabi if you’re not quite willing to make the investment that Kajabi requires. In my opinion they both offer the same features: Courses, membership subscriptions, digital downloads, email marketing, CRM, automation, analytics, etc. 

Kajabi

The platform you see all of the big names using! Fully equipped with courses, membership subscriptions, website builder, email marketing and automation, CRM and powerful analytics. I truly like Kajabi, but if it’s out of your budget, then definitely check out Podia. 

Wishlist Member for WordPress

Great tool if you’re wanting full control of your membership’s design, layout and navigation. In other words, if you want to fully customize your membership’s interface and integrate it into your WordPress site. I would say this is quite an advanced tool compared to the out-of-the-box options I listed above. 

MemberSpace for Squarespace

Great option if you’re on Squarespace and you’re looking to fully customize and control your membership’s layout! I actually just put a client on this one and we are loving it so far. 

Teachable

Teachable is your go-to if you’re just looking to create courses or support your clients with modular content.

Marketing + Sales Tools:

ActiveCampaign

AC has been my ride-or-die marketing platform since day 1. Super affordable and able to grow with you as your business expands. I can’t recommend AC enough! AC also offers sales features, like pipelines and sales automation which totally comes in handy if you’re working with 1:1 clients or on one-off projects and you want to track your sales and leads.

ConvertKit

Another great option! It offers many of the same email marketing features as ActiveCampaign. I think it’s a bit more expensive to get started with if you’re needing automation right away (which you are). 

SamCart

I recently started using SamCart for my shopping cart and I LOVE IT. I decided to use my own 3rd party shopping cart instead of my platform’s shopping carts because it integrates with everything (via zapier) and offers more advanced payment features, like up-sells, subscriptions and I’m able to see advanced analytics as it relates to my financial reporting. I love it!
